Deputy Nurse Manager/Registered Nurse

This client faces a constant challenge – attracting nurses from NHS hospitals, which are perceived as offering greater job security. In order to get them to work at this charity, we took a brief from one of their current nurses, and focused on the more rewarding nature of the work here. Nurses had less paperwork, more one-to-one contact with individual patients, more time to care, and a feeling of really making a difference. One of the nicest stories we heard was that a Nurse Manager sat in her office one day, looked out of the window, and saw her nurses flying kites with the children in the grounds. Everyone was happy and smiling – something you'd rarely see from the window of a hospital.
